The Sporting Family

I have a ton of photos from the last month that I really need to get posted. The next few posts are going to be totally random, so I hope you don’t mind.

I photographed a few little league football teams earlier in the season. A couple of weeks ago I received an email from one of the mothers who’s son I had photographed. She paid me a very nice compliment and told me that she had three other boys who’s teams had not done photos and she wanted me to photograph all four. We were doing these photos in Utah County, and I must admit that I haven’t spent much time photographing anything south of Draper. We had agreed on a location that I had previously used, but it didn’t really feel like the gritty/dirty football photos we had talked about. My trusty assistant and I went down about and hour early to scout some locations and as luck would have it, we found this great old school that worked perfectly. Lots of old brick, broken windows, and overgrown grounds. She readily agreed to it once I told her about the location. I love how they turned out.

Johnson

I photographed my brothers family last week, and I may be a little biased, but he has the CUTEST little girls. You could just eat them up! They were so much fun to photograph and had the cutest little outfits.

I love  this next photo. What a perfect photo of a dad and all of his precious little girls. I want to print this photo and put it on my desk!

This last photo cracks me up. Little Addy was a little stiff and I was teasing her a little, showing her what to do, and told her to give me some attitude. I got more than I could handle, but was able to get this one frame. I love it!

Halloween 2010

It is that time of year again. Yes, Halloween. I love this time of year. Not only is it Fall, which means you can start layering your clothes, but you get to dress up and act a little crazy. The Simpson’s had their annual Halloween party on Friday and I will let the pictures speak for how much fun we had. This was the first year that they had a theme and I loved it. It is fun to see how everyone interprets the theme and see what they come up with. I will be recommending that we do the theme idea again next year. Until next year…enjoy. Oh, and if you want to see more photos, go over to my Facebook page.
