Bride To Be

You all probably recognize this cutie from a few of my other photos. Yep, she is getting married. We had a great time making these images and she is a blast to work with. Very professional and incredibly patient. She makes a gorgeous bride and has a tun of spunk. I love how she wanted to incorporate her passion for soccer in her photos. Best of luck Nikki.

Gretchen - Gorgeous! I love those red shoes!May 3, 2011 – 5:04 pm

Kirk - Thank you. She really is very pretty. She had some other red shoes which were crazy hot, but they didn’t fit so well. :( May 6, 2011 – 7:35 pm

Gail - Gretchen, I liked the pic with the red shoes too! Way cute!May 9, 2011 – 8:50 am

On The Water

This is a family I photographed last week and I was really inspired to capture this photo from the family I photographed sitting on the pier in Venice. The casualness of the photo really makes the picture. I love the warm rich colors of this picture and the moody reflection.

Gretchen - Fabulous! I love the rock wall behind them.May 3, 2011 – 5:05 pm

Kirk - Thanks Gretchen. I love the wall too. There is this huge man made lake by our house where we rollerblade and this is a support for a bridge. Very cool. May 6, 2011 – 7:34 pm

Family Ski Day

This has to be one of my favorite shoots ever. This family brought me along to follow them throughout the day while they skied and snowboarded. The morning was really nice and we stopped along the way to get some family photos before we hit the mountain. But as we got closer to the mountain it began to snow. Not crazy blizzard snow. Just light fluffy flakes that make for fantastic Utah skiing. As far as skiing goes, it couldn’t have been any better, but there were times it made for difficult shooting. I believe it took a few days for my camera to dry out. It was amazing though and I had so much fun spending the day with them and helping to create some lasting memories.

Pretty In Red

While skiing yesterday I saw this great image and had to take a picture of it. You could see the car just jump out every time I was about to get on the lift. Maybe I just like Audi’s, but it made me smile.

Perfect Ski Day

This last weekend I was in Logan photographing a family while they went skiing. This was one of my all time favorite shoots. We didn’t have much sun, but all of the fresh powder sure made for a great day of skiing. It took a few days for my water logged camera to dry out, but it was so worth it for the great photos. I will be posting some photos from that shoot soon, but wanted to post one of my favorites of my trusty assistant and fiance. I love the feel of this photo. It makes me wonder what she is thinking. Is she about to drop in or she just enjoying the view? Check out how deep the snow is. Awesome!
